Information for applicants / Pre-requisites
Phase 1
The requirements for students who want to participate to the PsychIp-Intensive Programme are described below. Two most important requirements are that applicants must have fluency in English and that they have to be a student in the participating universities.
Working language
The working language of the course will be English. Teachers and mentors must be convinced that students have sufficient fluency in written and spoken English to cope with the course from the start.
Students can be from following universities:

Dublin City University, Ireland
The Medical University of Graz, Austria
University of Tarto, Estonia
University of Iceland, Iceland
Kingston University, England
Two to five students per university are accepted to the intensive programme.
Applying process
All candidates must submit an application form by specific day. The students send applications in English to their own university between 10.12.2007 – 7.1.2008 (see application form, Appendix 1). The filled application form will be sent to the following address in students’ home university:

Students’ registration process at the University of Turku
All applications will be treated equally. The selection of the students will be done before 15.1.2007 at the students’ home university. If there are more applicants than places available, applicants will be interviewed by the sending university.
The students who will be accepted to the intensive programme will fill an electronic form to be signed as an international students at the University of Turku. More detailed information will be sent to the students by post including information package concerning the programme and practical issues (housing, travel etc.).
Phase 2
The students who will be accepted to the intensive programme will sign to the ms. Kaija Kangasjärvi kaija.kangasjarvi@utu.fi. Signing to the Turku University will be at 16.1.-31.1.2008.
After signing to the programme students will get an information package concerning the programme and practical issues.
