Pulmonary Diseases and Clinical Allergology
The department educates both general practitioners and specialists in pulmonary diseases and allergology to know respiratory diseases, tuberculosis, and basic principles of allergology, as well as arranges postgaraduate courses on these topics.
The principles of action are good vocational skills combined with an ability to listen to the patient and to appreciate the independence of the patient, taking in the consideration the demands of the treatment for the actual disease. The disease has always to the person with the disease some message. The health personnel should be able to try to help the patient to interprete that message. Being aware of message of the disease is an essential part of the entire treatment of the patient.
