Research
Allergic diseases of the skin, mycoses, occupational dermatoses, the proliferation of epidermal cells and immunosuppressive effects of sunlight among others have been focuses in research. Co-operation with basic research has been lively. So far 34 academic dissertations have been published, often in co-operation with basic sciences. At present there are two research groups in the department; metalloproteinases and intercellular junctions in cutaneous biology and diseases.
