Research ethics
Good scientific practice is a key precondition for the conduct of ethically acceptable and reliable research. Researchers, therefore, must be thoroughly familiar with the principles of good scientific practice and research ethics. The commitment to good scientific practice depends on each individual researcher and each member of the research team, but also to the research community collectively. (http://www.tenk.fi)
As an unit that provides researcher training, the Finnish Post-Graduate School in Nursing Science has a duty to include in its training programmes questions relating to good scientific practice. Guidelines for ethical issues and research can be found at the following addresses:
