Project Phases

 

RightTimePlaceCare -project comes true in six work packages (WP):

WP 1, Management, aims to coordinate the project.

WP 2 will describe and analyse

• the European health, social care and welfare systems
• advocacy and informal caregiver support systems
• the intersectorial communication between different care providers, people with dementia and their informal caregivers by using focus group method

WP 3 includes the survey, which will

• investigate living conditions and the quality of care of people with dementia and their informal caregivers in formal professional home care (n = 175) and institutional nursing care facilities (n = 115)
• assess factors influencing the time of admission to long-term institutional nursing care facilities

WP 4, cost-benefit analysis

• will estimate economic impact and cost-benefit-ratio of home and institutional long-term nursing care

WP 5, best practice strategies will be generated by

• systematic literature review
• interpretations of survey results
• finding the consensus using the Delphi method

WP 6, dissemination and use plan, will

• establish and maintain contact to relevant national and EU political boards
• diffuse project findings throughout disciplines, scientific and non-scientific events and media
