Research program of Child and Adolescent Nursing
The child and adolescent nursing research program generates new knowledge about the child, adolescent, family, nursing and health care services in the context of nursing science. The research program also generates new child spesific research methods. The rights of the child (http://www.unicef.org/crc/,http://www.finlex.fi/en/laki/kaannokset/1999/en19990488, http://www.finlex.fi/en/laki/kaannokset/1992/en19920785) form the basis of this research program.
The aims of the program are to develop knowledge about
- the child and adolescent as a patient or client in health care
- the nursing care of children and adolescents
- child and adolescent specific research methods
