THE OVERALL GOAL AND OBJECTIVES
The overall goal of this study is to generate information on clinical outcomes and cost-effectiveness of IT use in mental health care.
The objectives are:
- To evaluate the impacts of IT on mental patients’ insight, quality of life, symptoms, compliance, knowledge level, treatment satisfaction, independence and psychosocial functioning.
- To describe the impacts of IT on staff knowledge, skills and attitudes, and organisational performance.
- To gather evidence of the cost-effectiveness of IT in everyday clinical practice from the perspective of the health provider.
