Researcher Path (25 ECTS)
The researcher path is meant for the master’s students who are interested in research in the Department of Nursing Science. The aim of the researcher path is to familiarize students with basic and appli ed research and to give them readiness to start research in doctoral level. The focus of the research is mentioned in the research strategy of the department and the students have the possibility to take part in research groups in the department.
The duration of the studies is four terms and the studies begin during the first spring term. Maximum eight students are accepted on the grounds of an interview. Application period is October and November.
The researcher path consists of 25 ETCS which can be approved as optional studies in the master degree programme. The completion of researcher path does not mean direct admission to post-graduate studies. However, students can utilise the studies as part of their future post-graduate studies.
