Course title and Code: KIRG6071 or KIRG6074 Clinical Rotation in Surgery
Duration: 1 -5 months, max 5 placements during Autumn term, more placements during Spring Term
Curricular position: 4 years of accomplished medical studies (minimum)
Language of instruction: English
Content: Clinical rounds in patient wards in different surgical specialties.
Assisting in surgical operations.Following meetings of surgical residents.
Aims: To learn basic skills and principles of surgery.To learn to perform a physical examination of a surgical patient.To learn aseptic behavior in surgical operations and main principles of hospital hygiene.
Prerequisites:

4 years of accomplished medical studies. The course of Surgery must be completed beforehand at the home university
